Surnomme le "Cri Wilhelm" par l'ingenieur du son de LucasFilm Ben Burtt, ce cri existe depuis bien longtemps, il fait son apparition au cinéma en 1953 dans le western The Charge at Feather River de GordonDouglas. Un cri de douleur horrible que pousse un cowboy touche par une fleche indienne. Mais depuis il c'est retrouve dans de nombreux films.
